Emily Urban

Hello! This website features both creative and more research-based works. I have creative pieces formatted for both published novels and scripts. My research/journalistic articles are usually cited using the APA or MLA formats.

My email is urban.e.emily@gmail.com.

As for my personal interests: I love (pun not intended) practically all of the romance genres! Contemporary romances, RomComs, and more quirky Romantasys. Although I do also like Sci-Fi. My favorite book of all time is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley!

For my articles, I usually focus on the strange and otherwise not talked about aspects of pop culture. I love lost media, old abandoned games, bizarre fashion cultures, and more.

I have a B.F.A. in animation from the School of Visual Arts and I graduated in 2024. From my time there I took a ton of different writing courses as electives. I did use to write a lot as a kid but fell out of love with it along the way. When I took a journalist class as an elective on a whim, I fell back in love with writing! In my Senior of college I even picked up writing fanfiction as a way to pass time on my new hour long commute.
